How to register your company

We like things simple so our aim was to make registering quick and easy.

To start –

• Click the top right “Register your company” tab
• Fill in the information boxes
• Click “Register” button

You will then receive an email asking you to activate your account. Click on the long http:// link in blue and you will be returned to the Select Food website and can log in using the username and password you chose.

Once logged in, click “Add listing” and decide which account type you would like and how you wish to pay.

If you choose manual payment by cheque or electronic transfer, you will be sent another email with the details you need, plus a unique number to use in correspondence. Please quote this when making payments or write it on the back of the cheque. The approval process usually only takes a few working days but depends on the method of payment used.

Once registered you can self-administer your details and add to the news, events and media pages.

Subscription plans

Basic listing - £29.00 per annum
Allows you to submit your basic business details to Select Food, including a short description, contact info, website address and the dietary requirements you cater for.

More Page - £39.00 per annum
Allows you to display extended details on your company by uploading a PDF file.

How to create a PDF file

If you choose the "more page" option you will be able to upload a PDF file with more details, such as a brief product listing, images and so on. It is actually quite simple to create a PDF file. First you need to create your page, for example using Microsoft Word.

Some word processing software - such as Open Office - will allow you to export your document directly to PDF. Alternatively you can install a PDF "printer", PDF Creator (it's free). Then from any application (Word, Publisher, etc), choose the Print option and select "PDF Creator" as the printer. This will save the document as a PDF file.
